My experience has come from hands-on work in rescue, rehabilitation, and release, giving me a deep understanding of what wildlife carers need on the ground. I’m passionate about improving outcomes for native wildlife by supporting carers, investing in better infrastructure, and building stronger systems across our organisation. At Wildlife SEQ, my focus is on growing a sustainable, forward-thinking organisation that not only rehabilitates wildlife, but also plays a key role in conservation across South East Queensland."

I love learning from such skilled carers about the dos and don'ts of wildlife caring. After I retired in 2022, I began to get more involved with the group and became the Grants Coordinator in 2024. I wanted to help the group by making use of my skills in infrastructure and grants management. I became Vice President in 2025 and am loving working with such a committed and friendly group."
